Authentic Greek Feta Salad

Ingredients
Feta cheese
Green olives
Cucumber
Ripe tomatoes
Best olive oil
Basil leaves
Crushed black peppercorns
Salt

Instuctions
This is my version of authentic Greek Feta Salad as made by my grandmother when I was a small child living in a village near Patras.

To the above I add lettuce by I'm not sure that my Gran did. Anyway, cut the tomatoes into large chunks and the same for the cucumber. Layer in a suitable dish then add the olives, torn basil leaves and finally the cheese (cubed). Drizzle with the best olive oil you can afford, season, shake and then serve with grilled lamb chops. Mmmm delicious and oh so many memories...
