There are two main types of garden rakes that
i use and they are the leaf rake and the more
robust soil rake. The widely splayed and flexable
prongs of the leaf rake makes it ideal for clearing
cut grass and leaves into piles ready for transporting
to the compost heap.
The soil rake has more rigid prongs making it
ideal for shifting small amounts of soil and removing
exsessive stones from beds. The key things to
look out for are a durable head and a strong handle.
